Kingsman: The Secret Service is a 2014 spy action comedy film directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman. It is the first in the Kingsman film series, based on the comic book series. The plot follows the recruitment of Gary "Eggsy" Unwin by Harry Hart into Kingsman, a secret spy organisation. Eggsy joins a mission to tackle a global threat from Richmond Valentine, a wealthy megalomaniac and eco-terrorist. The supporting cast includes Mark Strong and Michael Caine.
